An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pre‑Operative Assessment (POA) team at YGC. This Band 6 role involves working within a well‑established team, supported by a wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), to deliver high‑quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
To assess, optimise, and prepare patients prior to surgery, ensuring they are fit for anaesthesia and the planned procedure while minimising risks and reducing avoidable cancellations.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Has achieved/ completed a clinical examination/ diagnostics module

- Experience of analysing ECG's, blood results - Able to identify abnormalities
