249635 Activities Coordinator

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Band 3 Activities Co-ordinator to join our multidisciplinary team in Ward C4. You should be highly motivated and passionate about establishing and delivering meaningful activities to support, stimulate and engage our patients. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work independently. You may also undertake clinical care tasks and other duties as delegated by and in support of a Registered Nurse.

Ward C4 is located within Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. It is a 28 bedded ward providing care to Older Adults of 75 years and above. A proportion of our patients are in hospital for an extended period of time. We are committed to providing high quality, safe, effective and efficient care to all of our patients.

The post is 21 hours per week, fixed term for 1 year.
