Igne are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Administrator to join our QHSE team in Chester-Le-Street. This role provides essential administrative support across both QHSE and Fleet Transport functions, ensuring compliance systems, records and processes are effectively maintained across the organisation.Working closely with the Group QHSE Manager and Fleet Transport Coordinator, you will play a key part in supporting audit readiness, managing compliance documentation, and coordinating regulatory requirements across business units.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives on managing multiple processes and ensuring accuracy within a compliance-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and administer document control systems, including SharePoint registers and archivesSupport audit processes, including scheduling, evidence collation, and tracking corrective actionsManage accreditation and compliance portals, ensuring records are accurate and up to dateCollate ESG and carbon data, supporting PAS 2080 reporting and auditsProvide administrative support for audits, PQQs, procedures, and internal meetingsSupport supplier compliance by ensuring certifications, insurances, and records remain validAssist with building and statutory compliance, including inspections and record-keepingPrepare agendas and minutes for quarterly safety committee meetingsAct as a central point of contact for compliance-related queries and issuesAdminister fleet systems, including driver onboarding and offboardingMaintain accurate personnel and compliance recordsMonitor mileage, vehicle utilisation, and driver performance dataMaintain vehicle records including insurance and MID updatesCoordinate vehicle additions and removals ensuring compliance obligations are metAdminister fuel card processes to ensure control and traceability About You:Experience working in an administrative role within a compliance, regulatory, QHSE, or similar environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel) and document systemsHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple systems, registers, and deadlinesExceptional attention to detail and a flexible, proactive approachExperience in compliance, regulatory, QHSE, or audit-focused administrationMinimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics Salary & Benefits: Up to £30,000 per annum33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Enhanced maternity & paternity payCompany pension, life insurance (3x salary) & sick payHealth cash plan & medical cashbackAnnual leave buy & sell schemeOngoing training & developmentCycle to Work, Green Vehicle & Home/Tech schemesHigh street discounts & long service awards We are part of Igne Group Limited, a synergetic amalgamation of six companies with over 350 years of combined experience, providing a one-stop-shop for pre- and post-construction services.
