Business and Governance Administrator

To support the Care Groups and services in co-ordinating Business and Governance processes and data performance management, data quality and service development and clinical systems.

The Specialist Mental Health Business and Governance Team is a team of 7 staff, who in the main works from home. Office working will be required on occasions and attendance at meetings will be either face to face or via MS Teams. The Team supports Clinical Services across the Cheshire and Wirral area in Community, Inpatients and First Response Services for the governance of all Incidents, Complaints, Coroners requests and all Learning Responses.

The post holder will be the focal point for coordinating the requests for statements to be provided to the coroner.

Support on various meetings as per service need.

The post holder will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time sensitive deadlines are met and that urgent workload is accommodated.

This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the clinical teams. The post holder will also be expected to provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.

To assist in co-ordinating and supporting the complete range of quality governance activities including the management of incidents, complaints, freedom of information requests and resulting actions.

To support on preparation, minutes and action logs for various meetings according to service need.

To take an active part in team meetings, sharing information and raising issues relating to quality or areas for improvement, and suggesting possible solutions.

Be aware of the CQC Regulation and compliance and the impact of any adverse findings of quality measurement, internal/external reviews and changes in service delivery and prepare for assessments.
