Virtual Ward Sister / Charge Nurse

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Doncaster and Bassetlaw teaching hospital is a vibrant, hard-working and inclusive Trust that strives to deliver consistently high standards for both our patients and staff.

Alongside our system partners, DBTH is currently developing an ambitious programme to enable delivery of virtual ward capacity within the system. This will enable our patients to receive the acute care, remote monitoring and treatment they need in their own home.

The Sister/Charge Nurse will, by example and facilitation, guide, assist and empower nursing staff in fulfilling their professional role using research-based practice. Support the Lead ACP in the day-to-day management of the Virtual Ward.
