Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Willow Park School, Milton Keynes, MK14 6LJ

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 4.00pm

Salary: £23,638.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: September 2026

What you'll do

This is far more than a classroom support role. As a Teaching Assistant at Willow Park, you will become a key figure in a pupil’s day — someone who helps them regulate, engage and believe in themselves again.You will:

• Support learning in the classroom and during off‑site activities
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency
• Use trauma‑informed strategies to support emotional regulation
• Adapt learning to meet individual EHCP outcomes
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and the Inclusion Team
• Record progress, behaviour and safeguarding concerns accurately
• Promote independence, confidence and a sense of belonging
