Learning Support Assistant
Rushcliffe Spencer Academy
Part Time (30 hours a week), Term Time only, Temporary (Maternity Cover)
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who will be a member of our Learning Support Team, under the leadership and supervision of the SENCO and Deputy SENCO.
The role involves providing in-class support and small group interventions for young people, creating a calm and purposeful learning environment to allow students to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Strong communication and professional relationships are essential with students, staff and families, as well as external agencies. We are looking for someone with high expectations for all students, in line with the school ethos of allowing all students to shine brightly.
The successful candidate will form an integral part of reviewing student progress and setting targets to support the development of our young people. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children, particularly those with additional needs.
