Marketing & Social Media Officer to help grow the profile of our hospitals through engaging campaigns, compelling content and innovative digital marketing.

About The Role

Working within our central Marketing & Communications team, you'll lead on external social media marketing across HMT Hospitals while working closely with our Head of Sales & Market Engagement to promote services, support lead generation and raise awareness of our specialist hospital offerings.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll create engaging content, manage social media campaigns, update websites, support graphic design projects and help deliver marketing campaigns that make a real impact.

Travel to HMT hospital sites across the UK and occasional evening or weekend events will be required.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and deliver social media strategies across HMT Hospitals
  • Plan and manage paid social media campaigns, monitoring performance and reporting on analytics
  • Create engaging written, graphic and video content for digital and print channels
  • Update and maintain HMT hospital websites using WordPress
  • Work with hospital teams to gather stories, news and patient-focused content
  • Support the launch and promotion of new hospital services and specialisms
  • Build relationships with consultants, ambassadors and influencers to extend campaign reach
  • Assist with media relations, campaigns and marketing communications activity

About You

You'll ideally have around two years' marketing experience and be confident creating content across multiple platforms.

We're Looking For Someone With

  • Experience in social media marketing and campaign delivery
  • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
  • Experience managing website content using WordPress
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
  • Experience creating and editing video content
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • A creative mindset and proactive approach

Desirable

  • Experience within healthcare marketing
  • Internal communications or employee engagement experience
