    The role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Green Hub staff team at Gower College Swansea. Many of the learners have additional learning needs and some display challenging behaviour.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To deliver Landscaping & Horticulture to learners aged 14 -19
    • Actively contribute to the 14 - 19 curriculum
    • Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners

  • About you

    • Professional qualification or first degree in relevant area or equivalent
    • Hold, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification
    • Enthusiastic and committed individual who can engage, inspire and challenge all learners to achieve their individual potential in the outdoors / sustainable horticulture / landscaping / eco construction & multi skills.
    • Excellent learner management skills coupled with the tenacity, commitment and patience to deal with a variety of learners, many with ALN and challenging behaviour.
