The successful candidate will come from a background that confidently manages and can demonstrate working in a high‑volume, complex ER caseload environment. Candidates already able to bring strong confidence to strengthen working relationships and communicate effectively with managers and staff at all levels. Relevant sector experience is also essential.
We are looking for applications from HR professionals who are knowledgeable about UK employment law and HR best practice and who are well seasoned from already having demonstratable experience of dealing with a wide range of different employee relations issues.

The vacancy is fixed term or secondment until January 2027 for 26.5 hours per week, and we welcome discussions at interview about how these hours can be worked across the week.
The role is based at Peterborough City Hospital with the requirement to travel to our other sites including Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford Hospital.

The successful candidates will provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers across a wide range of employee relations matters, supporting services to manage workforce issues fairly, consistently and in line with Trust policy and employment legislation.
You will manage a varied and complex caseload, support organisational change activity, contribute to workforce initiatives and help develop manager capability through coaching, guidance and training delivery.
The role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills alongside the ability to work independently within a busy operational environment.
