Diagnostic Radiographer - Band 6 (Theatre Lead)

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Diagnostic Radiographer Theatre Lead role at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust joining a dedicated team of clinical staff, to support the provision of patient care.

we are looking for an experience theatre radiographer to lead the coordination between radiology and theatre to provide an effective and efficient service whilst adhering to departmental protocols and ensuring optimum patient care.

The candidate will also maintain their clinical skills and continue to take part in cross site rotation and shift system and maintain skills in plain film radiography and theatre work.

To contribute towards the provision of a high quality Imaging Service, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards of service and care.

You will work closely with other members of the team including radiologists, radiographers and assistants and theatre staff. You will be involved in the teaching of students and more junior members of staff to oversee staff competencies in theatre radiography.

The post holder will also participate in equipment QA programme.

The Trust operates a 24/7 shift system( 12 hour days, 12 hour nights and some 7.5 hour day shifts) which this post holder would be expected to participate.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:

  • MSc/BSc/Diploma in Diagnostic radiography
  • HCPC Registration
