North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of Radiographic services in the main hospital sites of North Tees and Hartlepool as well as Community sites in Stockton, Hartlepool and Peterlee. Although this post will be based at the University Hospital of North Tees, the successful applicant will also be required to work across all hospital sites as and when required, in accordance with service needs.

We are continually expanding our services and have up to date digital equipment across all sites including digital mobile units and wireless Fluoroscopic c-arm units at the main hospital sites.

We are looking for keen and enthusiastic Radiographers looking to expand and consolidate their experience to join our highly motivated Radiographic team.

We feel our service is adaptable to suit the Radiographic team needs as we offer a range of shift patterns and flexible working (full time)

Qualifications Required For The Role

The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:

  • English Language at GCSE Grade C equivalent or above, or Key skill Communication at level 2 (or equivalent)
  • MSc/BSc/Diploma in Diagnostic radiography
  • HCPC Registration (or working towards)

This post is deemed to require an enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

We unable to offer interviews by telephone or Teams due to the interactive nature of the interview process.

To contribute towards the provision of a high quality Imaging Service, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards of service and care.

Participate in cross-site working and extended working day and shift rotation to meet service needs.

Communicate relevant service, technical and condition related information to patients, carers, all members of the radiology team and health care professionals and support workers from other departments and wards.

Be aware of, and comply with, all Trust infection prevention and control policies, to include hand hygiene, personal hygiene, environmental and food hygiene. To undertake annual training/updates in infection prevention and control.
