Looking for flexible part-time work in a friendly school environment?

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our catering team at East Lane School.

This role is ideal for someone seeking school-friendly hours and who enjoys working as part of a team delivering a great meal service for students.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Serving meals and refreshments
• Setting up and clearing dining areas
• Washing up and maintaining high cleaning standards
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Supporting kitchen staff during service periods
• Assisting with allergen and food safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Positive and friendly attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Previous catering, hospitality or kitchen experience desirable
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification desirable (training available)

• Term-time only position
• Candidates should be able to travel reliably to East Lane School Monday to Friday
