Data Engineer

Are you an established Data Engineer who has worked as part of a delivery team looking to work from home and further develop in an outstanding rated Trust? Our development team are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join them.
As a Data Engineer you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the Trusts data pipelines and data warehouse in line with the business intelligence strategy. You will be responsible for mapping system requirements, and translating these into technical specifications, designing data models and delivering these using an Agile project management methodology.
You will have a full logical, problem-solving mindset and be familiar with on premise server infrastructure as well as awareness of Cloud computing techniques and technologies.

You will be joining the Information Services team who together deliver the Trusts data reporting analytics and BI Reporting platform. This is used widely across the Trust to enable data driven decision making from Board level to operational user.
Using Microsoft technologies, you will be required to work both independently, and within a team to deliver various project solutions of various sizes and complexities within the envelope of sprints. You will have a full logical, problem-solving mindset and be familiar with on premise server infrastructure as well as awareness of Cloud computing techniques and technologies. Proficiency in utilising DevOps tools and practices to streamline development, deployment, and operational processes is a key requirement for this role
