The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate

Should be technically and commercially astute
Have excellent communication skills verbally and written, inside and outside the organisation
Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel and AI tools.
Able to work independently and within the team
Have knowledge of manufacturing processes
Be able to deal with RFQs in a timely manner and collate tenders for the sales team
Provide solutions through knowledge of industry and supply chain
Work closely with Quality, Sales and Operations to support new product introduction sourcing activities
Be able to deliver cost reduction activities through global sourcing and alternative materials (in collaboration with Quality and Sales)
Be able to identify risks in the supply chain (i.e. single sourcing, capacity constraints, raw material market volatility) and implement mitigation strategies
Support customer and certification audits (i.e. ISO 9001 and EN 9120)
Work with our local and global suppliers to deliver project sourcing
Participate in the negotiation of supply agreements
Maintain and develop supplier relationships and drive our sustainability initiative
Knowledge of MOD and Aerospace specifications
Shall have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Qualifications

Engineering Degree or similar
Knowledge of Fasteners and C-Parts
