Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within our Callisto team. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.

What will you be doing?

As a Data Analyst, you’ll contribute to the following:

Daily checking, monitoring and processing of client data
Running and exploring reports to validate data feed requirements against portfolio
Validating and cleaning data to ensure accuracy and consistency
Extracting relevant data from internal systems and presenting it in a clean and consistent format
Production of internal performance and finance related data sets
Building and maintaining performance dashboards
Identifying opportunities for process improvements in data collection, validation and reporting

What you’ll bring

Strong focus on accuracy and consistency with a keen eye for detail
Excellence in communication with the ability to effectively communicate complex data to diverse audiences
Problem solving, identifying issues and recommending solutions
Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and advanced functions
Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to run queries
Analytical skills
Efficiency and able to work to deadlines
