We are recruiting female applicants only for this role, in line with the occupational requirements of the position.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic person to join our team, to provide care and support to individuals with a learning disability in their shared home.
You will be required to undertake personal tasks required by our service users in line with their assessed need, risk assessments and plan of care, respecting their choices, privacy and maintaining their dignity.
You will work with the team to provide sensitive care and guidance to service users in areas of personal care, daily living, health, social integration and emotional support. Contribute towards the monitoring and assessment of service users plans, reviews and assessment of risks ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Good communication both written and verbal and IT skills are essential.
Support customers to undertake general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of their home.
Support customers with Money management, benefit support and to administer medication.
You will need to have the ability to work on your own, using your initiative as well as part of a team. You will be required to work on a rota system over a 7 day week which includes, mornings, afternoons, weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
