Following a recent internal promotion, we are on the lookout for a high energy General Manager, inspired by a fast-paced performance driven culture.

Working in leisure is anything but leisurely especially at Halo - an award winning social enterprise, and local registered charity, leading leisure trust operating 33 facilities across Herefordshire, Bridgend County, Gloucestershire, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire, Torfaen and Wiltshire. .

Halo centres are all vital community assets which are well used and supported by the local population.

Located in Hereford city, Hereford Leisure Centre is one of our flagship facilities within the county and a beacon of excellence, servicing a wide range of different demographics and local community needs.

With a membership base of over 3000, there is plenty to get your teeth into at these sites to help continue the positive growth path this centre is enjoying.

The centre also hosts a vibrant gymnastics and wider activity programme, with ample opportunity to continue to grow this part of the product offer.

This is a role in a facility with ambitious commercial and community success, we need someone ambitious who wants to help it to continue to flourish and thrive!

You will be a key player in the future of this centre and the wider region. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in projects to support your personal development and the growth and success of the organisation.

You will need a proven track record of leadership and management experience preferably earned in a leisure based customer facing environment, an ambitious streak and a willingness to learn and mature on the job.

This is a great career stepping stone role into Area or Regional Management for the future.

Main Purpose - lead your team, manage your centre; delight your customers.

Contract - Permanent.

Salary - £ 46350.00 per annum.

Hours - 37 hours per week.

Commencement date - asap subject to pre employment clearances.

Closing date - 10th July 2026 at 5.00 p.m.

Interview date - 21st July 2026.
