Teaching Assistant for Early Years & KS1

The Role

This Teaching Assistant post involves providing both in-class support to teachers and, at times, one-to-one support for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities include:

• Provide in-class support to teachers within the Early Years and KS1 setting
• Support children’s learning through play-based and structured activities
• Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), including providing one-to-one support when needed
• Lead and support targeted interventions to promote development across the Early Years and KS1 curriculum
• Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Full training will be provided where needed, particularly in relation to SEND support and intervention
