Dyfed Powys Police Continue To Introduce New Apprenticeships Across Police Staff Departments As We Look To Attract Talent From All Ages And Backgrounds. The Variety Of Opportunities We Have Available Includes
- Apprentice – People Services (Occupational Health)
Our apprenticeship scheme is open to individuals from the age of 16 who are positive and passionate about a career in public service. Our programme runs for 24 months, during which time our apprentices will gain a vast amount of work experience within areas of our policing environment. Alongside this you will study a level 2 or 3 qualification relevant to the role.
As an apprentice you will carry out or be working towards performing the main duties and responsibilities shown below:
- To maintain records on the electronic People Management System by updating records electronically and if required scanning and uploading documents.
- To assist the Admin Support Officers with administrative duties associated with Occupational Health Clinics and collection of data of metrics.
- To act as a point of contact for any queries into the department.
- To provide support and resilience within the department when necessary.
- To maintain confidentiality.

Pay And Benefits
You will be paid the Apprentice hourly rate in Year 1, with the pay for Year 2 being dependant on your age.
