£24,700 per annum / £9,880.00 pro rata

About the role

This role sits within our Retail Domain, which transforms donated goods into vital income to support young people across the UK. You’ll play a key part in our Westhoughton shop, supporting a team to deliver excellent customer service, community engagement, and income generation. As part of this role, you will be required to follow a shift pattern agreed with your shop manager, will include some weekend shifts.

We’re looking for a charity experienced, confident, passionate, team member to join our amazing team in this location to make a positive impact in how we support the charities goals. You will have the ability to lead people, grow a volunteer team for the shop manager and assist the shop manager and drive sales and profits whilst driving improvements that strengthen the shop’s performance and community impact.

Key Skills and Competencies

The required skills and competencies for this role are:

  • Commercial understanding around what makes a positive impact to sales in a charity environment.
  • Ability to nurture volunteers and understand how best to inspire a team to deliver.
  • Complete flexibility as the store enjoys a busy community location requiring this in terms of hours worked etc.

It would also be an advantage if you have any of the following skills and competencies:

  • I.T skills
  • Proven coaching skills
  • Demonstratable performance management skills
