Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join its thriving EYFS department from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner who is passionate about supporting children during the crucial foundations of their learning and development.

The Opportunity

As part of the Early Years team, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to provide high-quality learning experiences for children in Nursery and Reception. You will play an important role in helping pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically through engaging and purposeful activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of creative and engaging Early Years learning activities
• Encourage children's communication, language, and social development
• Assist with classroom organisation and the preparation of learning resources
• Support pupils during group activities, independent learning, and outdoor provision
• Observe children's progress and contribute to learning records and assessments
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
• Ensure children's wellbeing and safety are maintained at all times
• Work collaboratively with staff and build positive relationships with families

About You

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or an equivalent field
• Have previous experience working within an EYFS setting
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
• Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Show initiative and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
