Team Leader to join our multidisciplinary leadership team in Eastbourne and surrounding rural areas. This role offers the chance to lead innovative outreach services, support individuals with complex needs, and champion dedicated women-only spaces at Eastbourne Lifthouse and the Recovery Café.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About The Role

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in driving forward high-quality, person-centred support for individuals experiencing substance misuse and complex challenges. You will lead a team of skilled and motivated recovery workers, ensuring the delivery of effective outreach interventions and specialist support for women.

A core focus of this role is promoting and developing safe, inclusive, and engaging women-only spaces, encouraging more women to access treatment and sustain recovery within their communities.

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team delivering outreach and specialist recovery support to individuals with complex needs
  • Champion and develop women-focused services, including safe and supportive spaces at Eastbourne Lifthouse and the Recovery Café
  • Promote engagement with substance misuse treatment for women, reducing barriers and ensuring accessibility
  • Deliver a flexible, creative, and responsive service tailored to the diverse needs of service users
  • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and adherence to best practice guidelines
  • Support the delivery of high-quality group work and one-to-one interventions using a holistic, trauma-informed approach

About you

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
  • Significant experience of leading teams who work with families where children are subject to social care intervention.
  • Knowledge of current legislation surrounding children, young people, and safeguarding practice
  • Able to lead, inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
