About The Role

Balfour Beatty are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Coordinator to join our Regional Civils team in Warrington.

This role will support the organisation in driving Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) performance, by providing effective advice and support to operational teams and contributing to the delivery of Zero Harm objectives.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of HS&W strategy and Zero Harm action plans.
  • Provide advice and support to site and operational teams.
  • Assist in investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses.
  • Undertake site inspections and compliance checks.
  • Produce HS&W reports and monitor performance.
  • Support risk assessments, audits and safety initiatives.
  • Respond to general HS&W enquiries and support engagement activities.
  • Review and update the HSW Training matrix and identify and training gaps with staff for NWDU.
  • Review and update the Health Matrix and identify any Fit For Role medicals that maybe required by staff.
