- To manage and support the provision and maintenance of NHS (National Health Service) Estates buildings, mechanical and specialist services, plant and equipment to ensure a safe and suitable environment for the care of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Provide technical and specialist advice to managers and staff in mechanical systems and disciplines.
- To specify and manage all mechanical services, systems and contracts across multiple sites.
- Travel between Trust sites as required.

- To provide evidence based efficient, cost effective and robust mechanical and specialist engineering contracts to ensure full compliance with statutory instruments, Department of Health guidance and industry best practice.
- To ensure all Hospital mechanical engineering systems are maintained in a safe condition and are fit for purpose.
- Management of a team.
- Responding to Ulysses reports for water and mechanical issues
- Managing estates databases
- Completing investigation reports
- Asset management
- Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM.) Issuing of tasks and closing of WO's ( With Team Leader)
- Issuing permits to work
- Reading and approving RAMS
- Obtaining quotes for works needed
- Reviewing quotes for works
- AP duties for Decontamination and Mechanical
- Team Talks
- Provide reports to Senior Manager
- Carrying out reviews of Risk Assessments and resolving issues.
