Resourcing Partner (In-House Recruitment Team)

Location: Glasgow (with flexibility to travel within the UK, including Manchester)

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven recruiter to join our team, based in our Glasgow office with regular travel to Manchester.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering end-to-end recruitment across a range of construction projects, partnering closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to attract and secure top talent.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand current and future hiring needs
  • Developing and delivering tailored recruitment strategies
  • Proactively sourcing high-quality candidates through a variety of channels
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from briefing to offer stage
  • Screening and assessing candidates to ensure suitability and cultural fit
  • Coordinating interviews and ensuring a smooth candidate experience
  • Building strong talent pipelines for key roles
  • Supporting workforce planning and long-term resourcing strategies
  • Providing regular updates on recruitment activity, progress, and key metrics
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and recruitment best practice

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in recruitment or resourcing, within the construction industry
  • Experience working closely with senior management / senior stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes and sourcing strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on delivery
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • IT literate, with experience using ATS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to Manchester as required (likely monthly)
  • Extensive experience using LinkedIn Recruiter Lite and other advanced sourcing tools, with a proven track record of proactively identifying and engaging high-quality candidates

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience recruiting across multiple construction disciplines or project types
  • Familiarity with workforce planning and talent pipelining
  • Knowledge of recruitment metrics and reporting
  • Previous experience working in a project-driven or fast-paced operational environment
