Overview
We have a great opportunity for an ASB Assistant to join our ASB Team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role is key in supporting the delivery of an effective and responsive ASB service across our communities. We’re looking for someone with experience in housing, ASB or a similar customer-focused environment, or who can demonstrate transferable skills, who can quickly build confidence in the role and support the team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for the ASB service, providing professional, customer-focused responses via the duty line
- Support the management of ASB cases, including investigating low-level ASB under the direction of the ASB Team Leader
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential ASB case records using relevant systems
- Provide effective administrative and operational support to ASB Officers, including meeting support and case preparation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to help deliver a responsive and high-quality ASB service
About you
Do you:
- Have experience in housing, ASB or a similar frontline, customer-focused environment, or transferable experience working with customers in sensitive situations?
- Have an understanding of anti-social behaviour and the impact it has on communities, or a willingness to learn quickly in this area?
- Feel confident dealing with sensitive situations and managing competing priorities?
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail?
- Communicate effectively and work well with colleagues and external partners?
