Engineering Administrator

Nationwide Platforms are recruiting an Engineering Administrator to join our team at our Luton depot.

As Engineering Administrator, you will be providing administrative support to the Engineering function to handle all workshop administration tasks

The role is a Full-time role on a fixed term contract for 6 months. In return you will receive a competitive salary and great benefits.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation, ensuring correct use of uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ensure all administrative tasks and records are accurate, completed in a timely manner, and kept up to date
  • Generate and manage purchase orders for approved third-party suppliers
  • Resolve purchase order queries and ensure accurate processing of goods received
  • Monitor and support depot engineering compliance, including breakdowns and overdue LOLER inspections
  • Ensure depot safety folders are completed accurately and maintained in line with compliance requirements
  • Coordinate manufacturer attendance for warranty inspections and site/depot visits
  • Support depot asset management, including property maintenance and repairs, raising issues where required
  • Track and follow up on outstanding actions such as breakdowns, LOLERs, and safety compliance matters

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to use company systems (e.g. email) appropriately
  • Understanding of the customer hire cycle, including on-hire and off-hire processes
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and standard computer applications to produce basic documentation
  • Ability to use internal systems (e.g. L-Vis) to carry out role-related tasks
  • Capable of completing administrative processes accurately, in line with company procedures
