Transport Co-Ordinator

Nationwide Platforms are recruiting a Transport Co-Ordinator to join our team at our Luton depot.

As Transport Co-Ordinator, you will be providing administrative support to the Transport function to handle all transport administration tasks

The role is a Full-time role on a fixed term contract for 6 months. In return you will receive a competitive salary and great benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct eyesight, camera, and medical compliance checks in line with company standards
• Support HR processes, including Return to Work (RTW) documentation and self-certifications
• Coordinate holiday planning and liaise with agency staff requirements
• Manage the ordering and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Plan and organise employee inductions
• Arrange and oversee delivery and collection pre-bookings
• Coordinate and follow up on equipment repairs with external suppliers
• Provide administrative support to the planning team, enabling greater focus on customer engagement and service delivery
• Manage defect reporting and sign-off processes for repairs
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including harness inspections and checks
• Act as an ambassador and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and all internal quality, health, safety and environmental policies and standards

Coordinate all vehicle maintenance activities The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Good communication skills and able to communicate at all levels
• Numerate and excellent PC skills
• Experience in road haulage advantageous
