PMD Business Finance are on the hunt for a motivated and enthusiastic Power Platform Apprentice to support the development, maintenance, and improvement of business solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
Working closely with the Operations Director, IT Manager, and wider business teams, you will gain hands-on experience designing business applications, automating processes, creating reports and dashboards, and supporting business systems including Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365.
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with an interest in technology, business systems, data, and process improvement. We are looking for individuals with experience in software development, project coordination, business administration, data analysis, or those looking to transition into a technology-focused role.
The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team with extensive industry experience, who are passionate about helping each other succeed. From day one, they will be surrounded by knowledgeable colleagues who will mentor them, share their expertise, and support their development as they grow into the role. Alongside their day-to-day role, they will complete a Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships, receiving dedicated training in 2-day blocks every 4–6 weeks. This structured learning will help them build valuable technical knowledge, professional skills, and recognised qualifications while gaining hands-on experience in a real business environment.

A Typical Day in the Job
Design, develop and maintain business applications using Power Apps
Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate
Support the development of AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio
Support the integration of Microsoft 365 services
Build and manage API integrations
Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
Take ownership of the reporting suite, ensuring accuracy, relevance and ongoing improvement
Respond to ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests from across the business
Assist with importing of new data to existing systems, including Dynamics 365
Work with the Operations Director and IT Manager to support data quality initiatives, identifying and resolving data issues
Monitor the performance of Dynamics 365
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues relating to Dynamics 365 and Power BI
Assist users with Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Power Apps
Participate in IT projects and the implementation of system changes
Maintain awareness of business priorities, change initiatives and operational requirements
Positively contribute towards individual, departmental, and company objectives
Comply with all relevant regulatory standards and internal policies
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
