Trainee CAD Programmer
RHF Fans Limited
We’re hiring a Trainee CAD Programmer to join our small, busy Programming team. If you’re switched on, good with people, take pride in your work, and want to learn a proper skill we want to hear from you. No CAD experience required. We’ll put the right person through an apprenticeship or relevant qualification and teach you everything else on the job.
Salary: £27,500 + Apprenticeship/Training Support
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be a key part of getting our fans from order to factory floor. That means:
• Producing and sending technical drawings to customers for approval
• Issuing parts to our laser cutters and liaising with factory operators
• Scheduling and supporting factory production
• Written and verbal communications with customers regarding drawing and design
• Supporting the wider contracts and sales team
• Learning our products and our software.
What we’re looking for
We care more about who you are than what you’ve done. Specifically:
• You’re comfortable on a computer and pick up new software quickly
• You communicate clearly in writing and in person
• You’re organised and can manage your own workload without being chased
• You take things seriously and follow through
• Basic AutoCAD experience is a bonus, but absolutely not essential
What you should know
All candidates will complete a short practical test before any offer is made, nothing to fear, just a chance for us to see how you think.
This is a permanent role reporting directly into one of our directors.
