Shift patterns: Monday-Friday 40 Hrs but can be flexible on start times.

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join a fast-paced and dynamic transport operation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, legal, and efficient running of our transport function, supporting the Duty FLM and Transport Manager with all administrative and operational requirements.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Support First Line Managers (FLMs) with the accurate and timely briefing and debriefing of drivers
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance, promoting and maintaining the highest standards across operations
• Prepare and reconcile delivery paperwork, including Proofs of Delivery (PODs)
• Manage Tachomaster administration and reporting
• Support DHL training processes and licence checking
• Ensure vehicle history files are maintained and up to date
• Provide general administration support for both the fleet and driver teams

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment desirable
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
• Computer literate, confident using systems and transport software
• A proactive team player with good communication skills
• Ambitious and motivated
• Are friendly and can build a good rapport with drivers
