Pharmacy Assistants work as part of a Pharmacy team under the direction of a registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician. The work includes:
taking in and handing out prescriptions
using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
ordering items
receiving, loading, unloading deliveries
delivering medicines to other parts of the hospital
answering customers questions face to face or by phone
pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines
preparing medicines
referring problems or queries to the Pharmacist
The purpose of this role is to support the Pharmacy team with daily tasks and duties.
As our Pharmacy Assistant you will
Gain experience on a private hospital setting
Learn about different departments and activities within the hospital
Participate in Medicines Management projects for the department
