We are delighted to announce the launch of our 2026 – 2027 Law Academy programme, offering sixth form students from across Norfolk the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the legal profession and explore the wide range of careers available within the sector.Building on the success of previous years, our Law Academy has become a well-established initiative designed to support and inspire young people considering a future in law. Following another successful year, we are now inviting schools and sixth forms from across Norfolk to register their interest for the next programme. This year’s Law Academy will provide a uniquely structured work experience programme for sixth form students considering a career in law. Designed to bridge the gap where traditional work placements are limited for this age group, the programme offers a hands-on introduction to the legal profession that goes far beyond the classroom.Starting in October 2026, the Academy will deliver a series of monthly workshops to Year 12 and 13 students from a growing list of participating schools, including City College Norwich, City of Norwich School, Notre Dame High School, Thorpe Sixth Form, Wymondham College, Attleborough Sixth Form, Norwich School and Sprowston Academy. With participant numbers growing year-on-year, our 2026 – 2027 cohort is set to be the most diverse and engaged yet.The Law Academy consists of seven monthly evening workshops, running from October 2026 through to April 2027. Held at Norwich City Football Club on Wednesday evenings, each workshop is delivered by legal professionals specialising in the areas being covered. The sessions are designed to be highly interactive and practical, giving students a realistic and insightful view of legal practice across a range of departments including wills, trusts and probate, commercial law, litigation, property law, personal injury and family law .Each session is structured to simulate real-life legal scenarios, providing students with tangible experience that mirrors the day-to-day work of solicitors, legal executives and other legal professionals. The Academy concludes with a final session focused on legal careers and qualification routes. Trainee solicitors, chartered legal executives, directors and barristers will share their personal career journeys and advice, providing students, parents and teachers with invaluable insights into the many pathways into law.We are actively looking to collaborate with additional schools and welcome applications from sixth form students across the county who are interested in taking part. If you’re a school interested in participating or a student eager to gain a deeper understanding of the legal profession, we’d love to hear from you.At Rogers & Norton, we are committed to fostering the aspirations of young people interested in law, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue a career in the legal profession. To find out more about the Rogers & Norton Law Academy and how to get involved with our 2026-2027 programme, please contact our Marketing Manager Louis Hilldrup-Boorman , by emailing ***email_hidden***
