Are you a customer-focused leader with a passion for delivering excellent service and creating welcoming environments? Do you have the energy and organisation to lead a front-facing team in a fast-paced leisure setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team at Unique Fitness, based at the University of Bradford.

This is a part-time role (19 hours per week, Saturday to Sunday). We invest in our people and offer opportunities for development within a supportive and energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the front of house operation, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and high-quality customer experience
  • Manage and support front of house staff, including rotas, training, and day-to-day supervision
  • Deliver consistent, excellent customer service across all customer-facing areas
  • Act as first point of escalation for customer queries and complaints
  • Oversee opening/closing procedures and ensure all health and safety checks are completed
  • Manage bookings, memberships, income reconciliation, and administration systems
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
  • Ensure accurate incident reporting and compliance with procedures
  • Deputise for senior operational staff when required

About You

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation organisation to fund training)
  • Gym Instructor qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation organisation to fund training)
  • Enthusiastic and committed
  • Good customer service and communication skills
