We have an opportunity for you.
We are currently recruiting for two permanent Council Tax Assistants to assist in the maintenance of account records for Council Tax; making arrangements for the recovery of Council Tax; dealing with correspondence; and dealing with the public both on the telephone and at the One Stop Shop.
The successful candidate will be given full training to be able to deal with all aspects of the billing and collection of Council Tax, helping to maximise income collection for the Council.
We are seeking to recruit a hard- working, friendly and motivated individual to work within the Revenues Section, with good communication and computer skills, along with the ability to work under pressure, to achieve workload targets and provide an essential and valuable service to our customers.
Previous experience of dealing with customers in a busy finance and/or customer facing environment is desirable, as a considerable daily element of the role involves dealing with customer enquiries over the telephone, and face to face.
