Company is seeking a Medical Affairs Specialist to join their Biosurgical Pharmacovigilance Device team. Responsibilities include receipt, preliminary regulatory assessment and analysis of adverse event reports; provide key input in the review of new or on-going safety documents such as protocols, safety summaries and regulatory reports ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements. Participation in the development and quality control activities for key safety documents. Progressive involvement in the review and commenting on clinical protocols and other study related documents. Participation on cross-functional project teams. Involvement in safety problem identification and resolution for products. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Plays a key role in orienting and developing junior staff as needed. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field with a minimum of 2 years’ healthcare-related or medical research experience. Minimum of two years industry experience in drug / device safety to include domestic, international, investigational or post-marketed responsibilities. 2 years of word processing, spreadsheet, database packages and medical terminology is required.
