Position: Kitchen Store Assistant

Salary: up to £27,500 per annum plus service charge plus extensive benefits - dependant on experience

Contract: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 7am-3:30pm

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Store Assistant to manage our hotel’s Food stock and supplies, ensuring that our Kitchen Team always have what they need to provide exceptional service to our guests.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Manage the hotel’s Kitchen stock, including food, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
  • Receive, check, and store deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Implement and maintain an effective stock rotation system to minimise waste and ensure freshness.
  • Conduct daily temperature checks for fridges and storage areas, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Issue supplies to different departments as needed.
  • Ensure storage areas are clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers to track orders and resolve any discrepancies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of food safety, stock rotation, and temperature control procedures.
  • A team player with good communication skills.

Due to the rural location of Carden Park, applicants should have access to a vehicle or reliable transport methods

You will be enthusiastic, a great team player with experience of working in busy kitchens, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. As part of the Carden kitchen team you will need to have previous proven experience of working within quality establishments preparing and producing meals to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a luxury resort and learning from the excellent Chef brigade.
