Quality Assurance Engineer

We're working with a leading European multinational developer and manufacturer of missiles and missile systems, playing a crucial role in international defence and security. This organisation is at the forefront of advanced weapon system technology, contributing significantly to national and allied defence capabilities.

The organisation is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team and enhance their software quality assurance skills within a broader Product Assurance community.

The Role

• Improve QA skills by collaborating with the wider Quality Assurance community
• Assist UK Engineering Directorate's software teams in missile programs
• Ensure high-quality weapon systems reach global partners
• Build impact and advance a career in Quality
• Maintain software quality by following procedures and guidelines

What You'll Need

• Experience in software development, full life cycle, and quality assurance
• Knowledge of software processes including national and international standards and assurance requirements
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence change
• Ability to lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues
• Engineering Degree or equivalent experience, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies
