About This Role

The Site Manager holds full operational responsibility for the UTCN premises, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, clean, and properly maintained for students, staff, and visitors . This proactive leadership role involves line managing an Assistant Site Manager, coordinating external contractors (such as the cleaning team), and overseeing day-to-day site operations, from early morning unlocking to setting up for school events and exams .

Beyond routine maintenance and minor DIY repairs, the Site Manager plays a crucial role in health and safety compliance—conducting statutory testing, auditing safety tasks using lamCompliant, and managing the Building Management and CCTV systems . The position requires a collaborative, highly organized individual who can balance regular compliance duties with the flexibility to support out-of-hours school events and community lettings .
