An opportunity has arisen at Orchard Mead Academy for a reliable and flexible Premises Officer to join our team, who is keen to make a difference and assist with maintaining the premises and grounds to a high standard.

Job overview

As a key part of our site team, you will work as part of the premises team to provide general site maintenance, using a varied skillset to carry out tasks such as cleaning, refilling consumables, painting and decorating and manual handling, as well as ensuring the site is in a good condition for all to work and learn effectively.

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, or equivalent qualifications
  • Good standard of maintenance and DIY experience with an understanding of health and safety parameters
  • Experience of working within an operational environment to provide day-to-day maintenance support
  • Ability to prioritise and plan own workload
