Security Officer – Associated Petroleum Terminals

£13.45 per hour
42 Hours per Week | 4 On / 4 Off | Night Shifts (18:00 – 06:00), possible day shift cover (06:00 - 18:00)

We're looking for professional, reliable and motivated Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile petroleum terminal in Immingham.

Working as part of a dedicated security team, you'll play a key role in protecting people, property and assets while helping to maintain the safe and secure operation of the site.
About The Role
As a Security Officer, you'll provide a visible and professional security presence across the terminal, ensuring the site remains secure, compliant and operating safely at all times.
This role combines gatehouse duties, site patrols, incident response and mobile patrols within the response vehicle, making it ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility and variety in their shift.
You'll also be expected to support daytime cover when required, so flexibility is important.
What We're Looking For
- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- SC Clearance desirable
- Full clean UK driving licence essential
- Comfortable carrying out mobile patrols in the response vehicle
- Flexible approach and willingness to support day shifts when required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable and confident attitude
- Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations
- Good attention to detail and strong observational skills
What You'll Be Doing
- Protecting people, property and assets across the terminal site
- Conducting patrols and monitoring site activity
- Carrying out mobile patrols using the site response vehicle
- Responding effectively to incidents, emergencies and suspicious activity
- Completing detailed incident reports and accurate notebook entries
- Monitoring Health & Safety concerns and reporting hazards immediately
- Following all Assignment Instructions, site procedures and compliance standards
- Liaising with management, emergency services and external agencies when required
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
