About The Role
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Delivery Manager from a HM Forces or Blue Light Services background to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Leeds or Manchester
We are looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager from a HM Forces or Blue Light Services background, with a strong track record of working in the public sector, who can confidently operate in commercial environments and lead high-performing teams to deliver impactful change.
Responsibilities
- Leading multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Managing delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Navigating governance, assurance, and compliance requirements within public sector environments
- Driving continuous improvement and team performance
About You
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager / Delivery Lead / Scrum Master
- Previous service in HM Forces or Blue Light Services (required)
- Familiarity with GDS standards or public sector delivery frameworks
- Commercial awareness and experience delivering in client-facing environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A strong understanding of agile frameworks and delivery methodologies
