Relief Officers required to cover Hamilton and the surrounding areas (Motherwell, Lanark, Bellshill, East Kilbride)

What You'll Be Doing

As a Relief Security Officer, you'll be a visible and professional presence across DWP locations, helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Covering security duties across multiple DWP sites
  • Protecting staff, visitors and government property
  • Responding calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
  • Conducting patrols and identifying potential risks
  • Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times
  • Working independently and alongside emergency services when required

What We're Looking For

We're seeking reliable and professional individuals who can confidently work across a range of locations.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous security experience
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible, professional and dependable attitude
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
