We are looking for Exam Invigilators to join the team at Chantry Academy, playing a vital role in upholding the integrity of both public and internal examinations. This is work that demands precision, vigilance and professionalism, from preparing exam spaces and managing candidate entry, to actively supervising sessions and ensuring all regulations are followed without exception. Reliable, organised and able to remain calm under pressure, successful candidates will take pride in supporting students at important moments in their education, contributing to a culture of high standards, fairness and trust.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination venues, including distributing materials and ensuring readiness before candidates arrive
- Supervise candidate entry, conduct and exit, maintaining a calm and orderly environment throughout
- Actively invigilate exams, following regulations, giving instructions and addressing issues appropriately
- Complete attendance registers and ensure accurate record keeping during sessions
- Collect and return exam scripts securely, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
