Senior Warehouse Assistant & Furniture Installer

Location: Dundee

Department: Workplace Design Support

Reporting to: Warehouse & Installations Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Senior Warehouse Assistant & Furniture Installer to join our Workplace Design Support team. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, logistics, and on-site furniture installation.

You will play a key part in ensuring goods are received, prepared, delivered, and installed to the highest standard—helping create functional and high-quality workspaces for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage goods inwards and outwards, including checking deliveries against orders
  • Unload supplier and company vehicles both at the warehouse and on-site
  • Inspect goods for damage and ensure correct quantities are received
  • Prepare and organise furniture and accessories for delivery
  • Deliver goods to client sites and distribute to designated areas
  • Assemble and install furniture, including custom and specialist items
  • Install wall-mounted acoustic panels and suspended ceiling panels
  • Carry out adjustments and customisation to meet client specifications
  • Lead smaller installation projects and support smooth on-site operations
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems as they arise
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health & safety protocols and PPE use
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping both in the warehouse and on-site
  • Remove and recycle packaging materials responsibly
  • Maintain company vehicles

  • Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools confidently
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer skills
  • A full, clean driving licence (essential)
