Senior Researcher in Reproductive Demography

The Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science (LCDS), Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) is recruiting a Senior Researcher in Reproductive Demography.

The post holder will help to develop research questions within a specific context, conduct individual research, analysing detailed and complex quantitative data from a variety of sources, and generate original ideas by building on existing concepts and to develop and implement new research methodologies and materials. You will raise research funds through grant applications and manage own area of a larger research budget and share responsibility for shaping the research group’s plans and the writing of group-funding applications for new research projects

To be considered, you will hold a relevant PhD/DPhil maternal epidemiology, reproductive demography or a related field and have significant postdoctoral research experience in maternal epidemiology, reproductive demography or a related field. You will have experience leading grant applications to national or international funding bodies and possess sufficient specialist knowledge to design, develop, and lead independent research projects and methodological approaches in reproductive demography.

This is a full time (part time considered), fixed term post for 2 years. The closing date for applications is noon on 17th July 2026
