Primary Teaching Assistant

Zen Educate is recruiting passionate and proactive Primary Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools. We have full-time, long-term opportunities available, with many schools offering the potential for permanent positions for the right candidate.

These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive both academically and personally. You may work within the classroom, in small intervention groups, or on a 1:1 basis, supporting pupils with a range of learning, communication, and behavioural needs. Many roles involve supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Schools are looking for caring and committed Teaching Assistants who can build positive relationships with pupils, support engagement in learning, and help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Typical responsibilities include supporting classroom activities, encouraging confidence and independence, assisting with literacy and numeracy development, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

Pay typically ranges from £108.50 - £115 per day, depending on experience and the role. School hours are generally 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
