College location: East Surrey College (Redhill) and John Ruskin College (Selsdon)
Salary: £46,931 - £51,277 (subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week) 08:45-17:00 Mon – Fri
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to take forward our Maths provision across the College Group.
In this key role, you will lead and manage Maths delivery, ensuring high-quality teaching and strong outcomes for students across GCSE and Functional Skills. You will be accountable for achievement, attendance, progress and the overall learner experience.
Working closely with the Director of Learning (English and Maths), you will support the development of a responsive and well-planned curriculum, while leading staff, monitoring performance, and using data to drive improvement.
The successful candidate must have
- Full Teaching qualification
- A demonstrable track record of improving success rates and standards
- Knowledge of current developments in the Maths curriculum within Further Education
- Experience of supervising staff
