Kia PBV is an exciting new brand in the UK commercial vehicle market, and this is a rare opportunity to take a leading role in shaping its success locally. As our Local Business Development Manager in Nuneaton, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing innovative products to businesses, building relationships, and creating real visibility for a brand with huge ambition. This role is ideal for an experienced, self-driven business development manager who thrives on getting out into the market, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships. The Role You will be responsible for growing Kia PBV Local Business sales across the Nuneaton CMA by proactively identifying new opportunities and delivering a professional, high-quality customer experience that reflects Kia’s brand standards. A key part of your success will come from being visible in the market. You’ll take ownership of planning and delivering external events, with the freedom to be creative in how you showcase the Kia PBV range and engage potential customers. The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday – Friday, Saturdays on a rota, with a basic salary of £30,000 and an OTE of £50,000

Do I need experience?

No! Whilst we welcome applications from experienced sales executives and service advisors, we understand that everyone started without experience, so we relish applications from people looking to begin their career with us. The key attributes and skills we look for in candidates are:

  • Previous selling and influencing skills

  • An ability to follow procedures, policies, and instructions.

  • A passion for providing first class customer service

  • Fantastic communication skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Local Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for and not limited to:

  • Achieving sales targets with the customers based in a defined territory

  • Developing and building strong relationships with all customers, providing the highest level of customer service

  • Maintaining your own product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
